Introduction

W H Kirkwood Ltd has developed this Integrated Management System based on the requirements of ISO 9001. Our Company places high emphasis on continually improving its processes and services to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.

Scope

The scope of this Policy is to ensure that all employees at WH Kirkwood are informed of the Quality Policy and understand their responsibilities in supporting its implementation and continual improvement.

Responsibilities

Management and all employees are responsible for compliance with WH Kirkwood’s Quality Policy.  Robert Macnaughton, Managing Director, has overall responsibility for reviewing, implementing, and maintaining this Policy.

Patricia Adams has been appointed Quality Lead by the Management Team.

Policy

W H Kirkwood Ltd adopts the principles of process management and fosters a culture of continual improvement throughout the organisation with the aim of:

  • Creating competitive advantage by continually proving and demonstrating our competence.
  • Complying with applicable statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements, and continually improving the effectiveness of our Integrated Management System.
  • Continually adding value to our processes and all aspects of the business.
  • Providing services that meet and exceed client requirements.
  • Delivering services on time and in accordance with client contractual and legislative requirements.

To achieve these objectives, measurable quality objectives and targets are established and reviewed at regular intervals.  Our Company provides appropriate training and communication to ensure that this Policy is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organisation.

As Managing Director, I am fully committed to ensuring the implementation and continual improvement of our Quality Management System. This Quality Policy is a controlled document and is reviewed and updated as necessary, with formal review carried out annually.
